WSW leads a comprehensive federal engagement strategy for HINJ — managing relationships across the New Jersey and regional congressional delegations, key committees, Administration officials, and national trade associations on behalf of the world's leading biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies.

WSW has represented the Healthcare Institute of New Jersey for 25 years, serving as its turnkey federal lobbying arm. HINJ serves as the largest state-based trade association for the leading research-based biopharmaceutical and medical technology companies in New Jersey, including many of the world’s largest as well as smaller, growing companies, along with associated patient advocacy and vendor alliances. With a mission to promote policies that increase patient access, encourage innovation and enhancing the life sciences community, WSW has worked on their behalf to on every piece of major health care legislation in the last quarter century including Affordable Care Act (2010), 21st Century CURES (2016), the Inflation Reduction Act (2022), the FDA Safety and Innovation Act (2007), the Medicare Modernization Act (2003), Project BIOSHIELD (2004) and more. WSW leads and manages efforts to engage the region’s Members of Congress and staff as well as key Committees, Administration officials and national trade associations.
